Paintbox is a brilliant range of yarn that I buy on a regular basis. It is lovely to knit with. Good value for money with large range of colours to choose from. I knit horses & donkeys for Hope Pastures horse & donkey sanctuary so mainly use brown & greys but occasionally other colours for different items. It's my go to yarn & will continue to use it. Very easy to use, good quality
Love the yarn and beautiful colors.Only negative was that there were a few knots when knitting along the yarn.I did not use a pattern for this yarn so I now have 5 out of 9 balls left so if using a chunky knit pattern perhaps think carefully about how much yarn you need.

I am making a fire side rug , and the paintbox chunky yarn is perfect for the job , it's the forth rug I have made and they wear extremely well, it's been in constant use for the last four years ,with no signs of wear I definitely recommend for all punch needle rugs,
The yarn is super soft and is knitting up nicely. It has nice stitch definition and my cables look great.
