Simple stitches create horizontal lines of subtle texture in the Murf beanie for an interesting – but not too challenging – project. Crocheted in worsted-weight yarn, this unisex hat can be made in a choice of lengths: a traditional beanie or a slouchy.
The hat is worked in joined rounds, from the top down. It has 2 in. of negative ease (2 in. smaller than head circumference). The written pattern uses U.S. crochet terms.
