A beautiful blend of merino wool, alpaca and viscose, Rowan Felted Tweed DK has been lightly pre-felted to produce a felted look when knitted up. The rustic colour palette makes this yarn perfect for fair isles, striping and other colour work - and a favourite with Rowan designers. Nice yarn, definitely needs tension swatches though whatever you’re knitting with it. I found one of the colours ordered a bit lacking in depth compared to some I bought last year so I couldn’t use them together which is a bit of a shame if you are knitting with multiple colours on small items and trying to us up stock.
There is no other yarn, that I know of, that has the properties of felted tweed. And the colors are simply amazing.
