Feels good to knit with doesn’t split and slides off the needle nicely. Is a nice weight like the results when knitted.

Perfect yarn for beautiful projects
I love the beautiful range of colours. It is easy to knit with, and it seems to go a long way. I use it for a collared jumper for myself, which is unusual since I mostly knit for my grandchildren. The finished knit felt perfect.
Great company
I wanted to knit a 18" toy cat and the recommended wool was alpaca which I won't use due to the cruelty involved. I had a devil of a job finding a yarn that would do the business. I bought rowan tweed dk and the end result is brilliant. I think it looks better than the picture of the cat in the original wool ! Nice to knit with and a fair price.

Just love knitting with Rowan felted tweed. I have made 14 men’s cardigans to date for friends and hubby. Would like to knit one in every colour but there are just so many cardigans a guy can wear. The pattern is from Rowan book. The tones are just beautiful.
Initially I was unhappy about the cost of the yarn, but it is worth every penny. It is gorgeous to knit with and because it's so light, goes a lot further. As a result I am knitting gorgeous beanies using half the wool the pattern stated. And the freckles of colour woven into the yarn lift, even the darkest shade, in a really subtle but beautiful way. I wouldn't use it for large projects, due to the cost, but it is perfect for hats, gloves, socks and scarves.
Warm and luxurious hat yarn
I'm using it for a hat. It’s warm but not very thick so it will be slouchy and luxurious.
Love your company but irritated with Rowan patterns.
Love this yarn-it and Rowan Kid Silk Haze are my two favorite yarns. I'm currently using Felted Tweek on Kaffe's Halo Spots. Love the texture and colors (and the wide assortment). However, let me tell you about a major, major gripe with Rowan Patterns: They no longer in patterns define vertically or horizontally with heavier blackened lines in charted patterns. That makes it much more difficult to follow these patterns. It's awfully hard to count stitch squares on charts as they are so, so...

I love knitting with this yarn. It feels luxurious and knits up quickly into a beautiful finished article. This is the third or fourth order I've placed in the past few months; as I am currently knitting beanies for all my loved ones. I'm now on the 22nd of 30! Scarves are next on the agenda!
