With this very easy pattern, you can make a realistic badger plushy.
Size: 7.8 inch / 20 cm long from nose to tail when made with Istex Lett Lopi and hook E / 3,5 mm.
The instructions are written in US crochet terms. The pattern contains a list of materials, tools and accessories needed. Brand and colour numbers of the needed yarn. A clear and colour coded description of how to crochet and assemble the animal. Pictures and illustrations to help getting everything right.
Materials: For this crochet badger you’ll need worsted weight yarn and an E US/3.5 mm crochet hook. You’ll need three colours of yarn: mixed black (1/4 of a 100 yard skein), grey (1/2) and white (1/5). These quantities are estimates. For the eyes I’ve used 8 mm animal eyes. You will also need fibrefill and pellets for a bit of extra weight in the body (I use Hama beads). Lopi colour numbers: black 0005, grey 0057 and white 0051. You also need a hard (animal) brush to brush your badger to get fuzzy.
