As I started thinking about my autumn collections, I was drawn to recapturing that warm, comforting feel of wearing something handmade from home when you first head off to university. I decided that Aran weight college style scarf designs fitted the bill, and as inspiration for the first set of designs, I looked to the universities that mean something to me and mine!
Oxford which is a simple, elegant design that uses the Comma stitch (a little pun for all you grammar fans!) to create the repeating textured motif. And if you aren't a fan of fringing, the scarf also looks amazing without it.
