Product Details
The Ivy poncho was designed for a younger friend who wears lots of soft greens. A modern and warm poncho for that nature walk, or sitting in the garden on cooler evenings.
Skill level is easy - suitable for the confident beginner and yet interesting enough for the experienced knitter who likes to natter with friends and knit at the same time. There is no shaping and all patterns are created using the knit and purl stitch. You need to able to cast/bind on and off, knit and purl, and sew up.
Instructions are written line by line, in English, with British/US terms. There is a diagram and photos to help with assembling your poncho. Any chunky/bulky yarn should be suitable - yarn shown in the photos is listed in the pattern.
(Modelled on UK size 8, US size 4, 165cm/5ft5in – the poncho hangs a little differently on larger sizes, but it still looks great!)
