This is the perfect hat for the pixie in your life. The relatively simple slipped stitch pattern on the crown works very effectively, perched on top of a body that is knitted sideways.
The sample is size 18in on a model with an 18in circumference head.
The pattern includes illustrated tutorials for provisional cast-on and garter stitch Kitchener stitch.
