It knit up beautifully. The pattern I used was for a cable knit dress from 1967. The Irish wool called for was no longer available, so I bought the Debbie Bliss aran wool as a substitute. It was a perfect substitute.

This is a very knittable wool- the colour is classic and the weight is perfect for aran knits. Only drawback is availability - desperately waiting for a restock.
