Boxy Rib socks are perfect for those times when you need a simple pattern with just a bit more interest than a plain sock.
Ideal for beginners, the Boxy Rib socks are constructed as cuff down socks with a heel flap and gusset. The heel is knitted in heel stitch which creates a durable, cushioned heel. These socks can be knitted on DPNs, short or long circular needles.
This pattern can be used on its own or if you need more help, in conjunction with the Winwick MumSockalong beginner sock knitting tutorials available for free on the Winwick Mum website.
