This stroller blanket is a perfect gift for the new baby or for your favorite toddler who wants a cuddle blankie. The pattern is easy to memorize, so it can be knit while watching tv or on a road trip.
I like the idea of using different textures of yarn to create a unique fabric. So on this blanket, I used one strand of a boucle yarn and one strand of a regular yarn. I chose two colors in the same family, but a few shades apart. If you prefer, this blanket can be knit with two strands of a single color, and it will look beautiful.
For the sample, I used 325 yards of I Love This Yarn – Sea Blue colorway, and 325 yards of TLC Baby Amore – Aqua colorway. Both are a soft worsted weight yarn.
This stroller blanket is knit on any 3/4” gauge loom with a minimum of 68 pegs.
The pattern is suitable for an advanced beginner and includes a picture tutorial for the stitch pattern.
