Tahki Yarns Donegal Tweed is a traditional Irish homespun tweed yarn of 100% pure new wool, in a worsted weight. Tahki founder Diane Friedman was inspired to create Donegal Tweed when she discovered a mill in County Donegal that was spinning lovely wool tweed weaving yarns. Knit up well for an Emotional Support Chicken pattern using worsted weight 16 stitches to 4 inches, so Donegal was close. I knitted tight to make it work. Nice texture, just not enough yarn--needed 200 yds, and I had to buy a second skein to finish. So, I'll have to use another kind for the next "chicken"----
I like the color but have not used it yet so will wait to see how it knit.
