I made this blanket for a friend's special birthday. She is particularly fond of the work of the wartime artist, Eric Ravilious, so I selected a palette of yarns based on his work.
It's another iteration of my fave Seaside Stashbuster from Coastal Crochet - but the first time I have picked a specific set of colours. I made it a little larger than the standard pattern - using 196 stitches for the width, which worked out for all the differing patterns. And I also repeated a few patterns to give it a corresponding longer length. Mostly worked in Yarnsmiths Create DK which has coming up really well in my most recent projects.
