Woodlands

Woodlands is a comfy, cozy pullover to keep you toasty warm as the days get shorter and the nights get longer. Get ready to add a layer of woolies for a walk in the woods. The pullover is a contemporary twist on the timeless, ever-popular basic cable pullover — full of easy texture. The simple cable and textured panel is designed specifically with a less experienced knitter in mind that wants to try their hand at cables.

The pullover is worked in the round from the bottom up until the divide for the armholes. Front and back are then worked separately and joined at the shoulders with a 3-needle bind off. Sleeves are picked up along the armhole edge and worked down.

Samples were knit using Brooklyn Tweed Tones (Worsted weight; 100% wool; 140 yds / 128 m per 50 g). Substitutes are West Yorkshire Spinners Croft Aran (Worsted weight; 100% Shetland wool; 182 yds / 166 m per 100 g) or The Fibre Co Cumbria (Worsted weight; 60% Merino, 30% Masham wool, 10% Mohair; 236 yds / 216 m per 100 g)
