Product Details
The inspiration for this tea cosy was Alice in Wonderland. I tackled the Mad Hatters hat by making a knitted and felted top hat. Once felted I just cut openings at each end for the spout and handle and blanket stitched the edges. Next I embellished the hat/cosy with a very cheeky Cheshire cat and some over sized playing cards. Don’t be alarmed by the look of the hat prior to felting it will be huge and look nothing like a hat. The felting process will work its magic.
