Wild River Scarf is the perfect introduction to knitting with charts if that is new for you. The pattern repeats are easily memorized, making this the perfect project for gift giving, travel knitting, or watching TV.
Knit up YOUR unique version in blues to evoke the waves of your favorite river, cream for a slightly Aran look, or red for some real punch!
The scarf is knit using approximately 600 yds/549 m DK weight yarn on US size 6 (4.0 mm) 24”/60cm needles, creating a beautiful drape, but could also be knit in worsted or even bulky weight for a chunkier look. Experiment!
The finished scarf is approximately 11 in. by 65 in. (28cm by 165cm) after blocking, but is easily lengthened if desired.
Both written instructions and an easy-to-read chart are included.
