Product Details

The Welsh Dragon spends his days sleeping and drinking tea (with bara brith of course) – and his nights flying around his beautiful country, warding off other dragons. He sits 8 inches tall (when made with recommended materials).

The pattern uses UK terminology (US terminology is also available as a separate listing) and can be downloaded after purchase. It is clear to follow with detailed instructions and lots of pictures for step by step making and assembly. There are also picture instructions for colour change, back loop only and picot stitch. I have made the dragon using Paintbox Yarns Cotton Aran (Aran/worsted weight yarn) - details in pattern.

The following stitches/techniques are used in this pattern: slip stitch, magic ring, double crochet, half treble, treble, increase, decrease (dc2tog), colour change, back loop only
