This listing is a pdf download of the "Weimlove" hand knitting pattern to create this cute cushion cover. The front features a sweet dog face inspired by my Weimaraner, worked from a chart, using the double knitting technique.
The chart would also be suitable for the intarsia technique but please note that if using intarsia, the tension and yarn requirements may differ from that stated in the pattern.
The back is knitted using a striking yet simple slip stitch pattern for the lower section. As well as being decorative, it has the advantage of creating a firm and hard wearing fabric, perfect to withstand the cuddling that this cushion will receive once you have made it. The upper section of the back is worked in two by two rib. A simple overlap of the back sections provides easy access for the cushion pad and no buttons or zips makes it soft to lie on and therefore perfect to decorate a bed. The pattern as worked is designed to fit a 35cm square cushion pad when slightly stretched.
