Velvet Grip is the second pattern in my Garters and Lace collection, each pattern named after early 20th century garter manufacturers. These mitts knit up quick and easy, and are equal parts elegant and badass goth!
To knit these mitts, you will need: Approximately 150 meters/164 yards worsted weight yarn Set of 4 4.5 mm double-pointed needles (size 7 US) Stitch markers Waste yarn Tapestry needle Crochet hook
Gauge: 20 sts = 10 cm/4 inches in garter stitch
Sizes: S 17.5 cm/7 inches, (M 20 cm/8 inches), [L 22 cm/9 inches] Meant to be worn with about 0.5 inches negative ease
Required skills: knit, purl, yarn over, left- and right-leaning decrease/increase, centered double decrease.
Notes: The required skills are written into the instructions except for German Twist cast on
