Product Details
Accessorize the strong and courageous person that you are with Valor Cowl. Very little bravery is required to knit this cowl; if you can knit and purl, you can make this. If joining cast-on stitches to knit in the round makes you nervous, be brave—you can use my little trick to make it easier.
I love that the broken rib produces a fabric that lies flat, but the coolest part is that when you add a stripe, it also creates a fun little blip of contrast color. The simple two-color cast-on and complementary stem-stitch sewn bind-off extend the accent color to each edge. Choose your background color and then experiment with one or more contrast colors. This is a great way to use up small bits of leftover yarn from previous projects. Valor Cowl knits up quickly thanks to worsted weight yarn—perfect for gift giving or for yourself.
