Product Details
This beginner friendly adult beanie is made with an easy stitch combination to create a lovely squishy hat with a textured twist. It has a snug, fitted style, although you can add extra rows here and there to make a slouchier hat.
This "quick make" (although I believe knitting should not be rushed, it should be enjoyed), is ideal for gifting with a unique, handmade touch. Suitable for beginner level knitters who are searching for their next knit in something other than stocking stitch, or a more experienced knitter who wants to immerse themselves in a simple, mindful pattern.
I created this pattern because when I was beginning my knitting adventure in 2019 I needed the guidance of patterns for number of stitches, sizing etc, but I longed to make textured knits rather than the flat appearance of stocking stitch. Now, as a designer, my favourite area of knitting is creating stitches for shape and texture.
