Product Details
This lace and mock cable stitch scarf is much easier than it looks, and makes a beautiful scarf. The stitch comes to us from Japan. The stitch creates a slight scallop both length-wise and across the bottom, giving it an even more feminine appearance. The pattern also contains instructions for an optional crocheted edging. (You won't need the crochet hooks if don't want to make the edging.
Skill Level: Beginner + - Intermediate, assuming a good knowledge of knitting, purling, and working with patterns.
This pattern is charted. All sport weight yarns yielding 6 sts/inch in stockinette will work for this scarf.
The yarn used in the sample is Lorna's Laces Shepherd Sport yarn, in colorway Dupage.
