Product Details
Traverse My Heart Ponchette
The Traverse My Heart Ponchette is designed to fit most women. If needed, a larger hook and/or thicker yarn could be used to increase the size.
- This pattern starts at the neckline and works its way down to the hem. The button-holes, neck and button band are worked at the end.
- You will use between 550 and 600m of the yarn you choose. Aran (10ply/worsted #4) yarns work best and they work up really quickly, too. It takes me around 8 hours to complete this pattern. The pattern would also work beautifully using alternating yarns for stripes – use your imagination!
- The 6 buttons are functional, which means that they can be undone as required... OR the ponchette (mini poncho) can be treated as such and just popped over the head.
- Fringing is optional, and the length is entirely up to you, too.
- The purple/grey one was created using Stylecraft Ombre and the Orange/Red one was made with Patons Colour Works Aran (Sunset)
