This is a crescent shaped shawl knitted top down For this shawl I recommend yarn of 600 – 1000 meters / 660 – 1100 yards in 100 gram. Gauge is not important but will determine the final size of the shawl and the amount of yarn needed. On the shawl’s body and border I used Czech seed beads №8 ≈ 5 grams (301 beads).
Materials Needles: circular needles US1½ – US6 (2.5 – 4 mm); 40” (100cm) or longer. Crochet hook 0.5 mm for placing beads. Crochet hook 1.5 mm to cast on and to bind off. Scrap yarn; stitch markers (optional).
