The instructions in this pattern are written for knitters who knit left-handed, that is, when they knit the stitches move from the right to left needle as they knit.

These gorgeous socks, ideal for lounging or sleeping, or just showing off, are knitted in sock yarns with added silk for luxury or angora for cosiness. They are knitted from the top down, using stitches chosen to show off a stripy yarn; they also look lovely in a single colour.
The Sweet Dreams socks are knitted in the round from the top down. They start with a tubular cast-on, followed by a garter stitch rib. The leg and instep are worked in a slip stitch cross pattern and the heel flap is decorated with a simple slip stitch. The socks are finished with wedge rows.
