Product Details
I've made Sidney the Seagull using a jumbo #7 weight plush yarn. This is ideal for a big soft and huggable toy and is a pretty quick make. He sits just under 14 inches tall in jumbo yarn - 9 inches tall in super chunky and 7 inches in Aran (when made with recommended materials).
The pattern uses UK terminology (US terminology is also available as a separate listing) and can be downloaded after purchase. It is clear to follow with detailed instructions and lots of pictures for step by step making and assembly. The pattern also includes an adjustment for making your seagull using a non-plush yarn and picture instructions for colour change and back loop only. I have made Sidney using Premier Parfait XL (jumbo weight plush yarn) - details in pattern
The following stitches/techniques are used in this pattern: magic ring or chain 2 to start, slip stitch, double crochet, half treble, treble, increase, decrease (dc2tog), colour change, back loop only
