She Liked It

She liked it ” cardigan was incubated when one of my friends told me that she never wears cardigans because cardigans are only for very old people. Of course I disagreed! And I wanted to show her cardigans can be very flattering on her. So the “She liked it” cardigan was created. The result was a success. She liked it very much!

This is a cardigan knit seamlessly from the neckline towards the yoke and then divided into body and sleeves at the underarm. Initially, the design was made with a cropped length body and three quarter length sleeves with my friend’s figure and her preference in mind. However, a version with longer body and sleeves is provided in this pattern. The hem of the cropped version rests 2.5 - 5 cm (1-2 inches) below the natural waist. It can be knitted longer with or without body shaping if preferred.

This cardigan is intended to be worn with approximately 5 cm / 2" positive ease. It also can be also worn with 0-2.5 cm / 0-2" negative ease for more snug fit.
