I have recently refreshed this pattern to make it available as a pdf download rather than just a blog link.
I thought it might be fun to work it up a pattern in a number of different yarn weights, after all how many times have you seen a pattern you like only to find it doesn’t match the yarn you want to knit with? For me the answer is far too many times and I am often too lazy to do the maths to convert the pattern to fit the yarn I want to use. In order to help in situations like this I came up with this pattern, I have worked it up in three different yarn weights (fingering/ DK/ chunky) and three different yarn styles (self striping/ solid colour/ variegated) so hopefully you will be able to find something that works for you.
Yardage requirements for the different yarn weights are;
4ply/ fingering - at least at least 350m
DK weight - at least 200m
Chunky/ Bulky weight - at least 120m
