Worked in chunky Montera, these slipper socks are perfect both for lounging around the house and for slipping inside wellies for extra warmth. The loose singles yarn felts well with wear, creating a soft but durable clog-like slipper. Knit these from the toe up with a short-row heel.
Intermediate difficulty – Knit, purl, short row heel and working in the round.
Finished foot circumference 5¾ (6¾, 7½, 8½) in / 14.5 (17, 19, 21.5) cm. Shown in size 7½ in.
MATERIALS AND NOTIONS 1 skein of Classic Elite Montera (50% llama, 50% wool; 127 yds/116m per 100g skein); #3829 Aqua. US #9 (5.5mm) set of dpns. Adjust needle size as needed to obtain correct gauge. 3 stitch markers; yarn needle.
Substitute with approximately 127 yds / 116 m of chunky weight yarn.
