This pattern was inspired by my daughter's love of rainbows and stars. This pattern utilises seven colours to represent the rainbow and 14 stars to make a banner approximately 186cm/73in long. This pattern is suitable for complete beginners with written instructions for all stitches and can be modified to suit your purposes. Make this star banner in any colour or as long or short as you like, using up all those scrap pieces of yarn you have lying around. Suitable for all year round decoration or festive bunting at Christmas.
