PATTERN NOTES: This cuddly kitty is worked flat in one piece. The knitted ears and tail are sewn on. The nose and whiskers are embroidered. I worked my kitty in an common cat color, but you can be creative with the color to make something unique to you.
SKILLS REQUIRED: Cast on, bind off, increasing, decreasing, seaming, filling and shaping, embroidering
YARN: MC: Red Heart Worsted, 100% acrylic, 482 yards/440 meters in 10 oz/238 g, in color Grey Heather. 65 yards (60 meters) CC: Small amount of worsted yarn for inside ears and tail tip, in color Aran Fleck.
KNITTING NEEDLES: US 6 ( 4 mm ) circular needle for working flat US 6 ( 4 mm ) double point needles, set of 4
EXTRAS: Yarn needle, polyester fiber fill, embroidery floss for nose and whiskers, 2 buttons 5/8" ( 1.5 cm ) for eyes, zipper (optional) GAUGE: Gauge is not important.
FINISHED SIZE: 10 inches tall ( 25 cm ) by 8 inches ( 20 cm ) stuffed
