Paintbox Yarns Cotton DK

I bought this yarn to knit octopus for the premature babies. I started knitting hats, bonding squares ,cannula sleeves etc during lockdown and have continued. The babies hold on to the tentacles.

Perfect for the summer top that I am making. It looks great and is easy to work with. Not rough on the hands.

This is a nice color for Ptolemy Pterodactylus, although the pattern calls for ********* weight. The yarn works up nicely and easily, and makes a great stuffed toy.

This yarn crochets up nicely and easily, and makes a great child's toy. It's washable. It seems to have been the wrong yarn for the Ptolemy Pterodactylus pattern, which calls for *********, so my crocheted pterodactyl turned out much larger than the measurements given in the pattern, but my little boy, who picked out the pattern, loves it. You just need more of the gray than os recommended on the page (2 balls) if you make the pattern out of Paintbox Yarns Cotton DK.

Lovely wool to knit with . I have a pattern for a cotton top and it only used 5 100g balls of this wool on 4.5mm needles.

Crochet up lovely, easy to work with, loved the colour.

One of the skeins contained 2 knots, but it knitted up beautifully. It has a lovely sheen and drapes nicely.
