I love Paintbox cotton Yarn. It is perfect for crochet designs and so soft to wear and from 10 balls 0f yarn I have made 2 long sleeved jumpers , 1 crochet, 1 knitted and a short sleeve top. I am a large lady and take size 22 in clothes so you see it goes a long way. I would definitely recommend it.
Colour beautiful, blue feels really nice
Knitted very well and had a good result. I used it to knit a cable pattern and the pattern stands out. This wool washes well and holds it's shape.
Yarn is extremely easy to work with. I've only been crocheting a few months, and Paintbox yarn has been my favorite yarn so far. I made a cardigan with it. It turned out great and the yarn feels really nice against my skin. Soft and comfy. Highly recommend.

Lovely yarn but definitely not suitable as DK more like a sport weight great for 3.25mm needles The only reason I haven't given it the top rating is I feel that if you ordered it for a DK pattern it really would be unsuitable
