Bought this cotton Aran in a 3 bags for the price of two, so it was very reasonably priced. The yarn knits up well and is soft but I probably wouldn't use it if I was knitting an heirloom item (however, it wasn't an heirloom price). For children's clothing that is going to be in and out of the wash it is a reasonable choice.
