Love, love, LOVE this yarn. I am making a crochet bedspread and am SO pleased with the results. It is a joy to work with and my only ‘problem’ is choosing the colours. Due to the size of the project I wait for the offers to come round but have no regrets choosing this beautiful cotton Aran, it is showcasing Janie Crow’s Flora designs spectacularly. Wise lady told me there are as many stitches in cheap yarn as the decent stuff- think of the usage and make your choice. I chose paintbox cotton!
I love to crochet with cotton - makes great baby blankets. Paintbox Cotton Aran is lovely quality and the value pack is a good deal. Will be buying another pack for another blanket!
Lovely to knit with although it is prone to splitting .I haven’t finished the cardigan yet will upload a picture when done Delivery as usual was very prompt.
Excellent quality cotton yarn. Price point is also excellent.
Disappointed. This was purchased as I couldn’t find a white cardigan on line!! I started to knit a cardigan but I felt as if I was knitting a dishcloth. It has been abandoned for the time being as I have since managed to buy a white cardigan. It hasn’t been relegated to the never used stash as yet so will likely try again. If still not happy there will be dishcloths aplenty!! Having said that I wouldn’t be afraid to try again in a different colour.
It knits up with a slouchy good humor. The colors are soft and bright and luscious. The only thing I miscalculated on the number of balls I will need. I have no qualms about the colors being true - so I will order more. The yarn was delivered to me in rocket speed.
Not as thick as other Aran yarns i've used, but very good quality, especialy for the price! Soft and crisp, easy to crochet with, and there is such a wide range of colors to choose from. It would be nice if they made bigger skeins, I had to buy about 30 for my last project.
As always, the cotton yarn is easy to use and available in such a wide range of beautiful colours. I always use paintbox double knitting or aran for my projects. Large packs are good value.
Excellent quality yarn, I love the finish of this especially when working with C2C patterns! And the range of colours is amazing!!
Very nice yarn. Colour selection is amazing and it is soft and glides against itself easily (I prefer to work with slicker yarn). Being able to purchase in a multipack is a great advantage. I only wish it was available in larger skeins.
