Sport weight yarn, size 2 – fine. I used Drops Safran 100% cotton yarn weight/length: 50 g = approx 160 m in the colorway 10 (yellow). 70 grams (224 meters approx.) of yarn needed for this pattern.
3.0 mm crochet hook (US size C/2).
Scissors.
Yarn needle or Latch hook for weaving in ends. Or, you can use a crochet hook.
