Product Details
The pattern is created using a technique that results in a look familiar to burnout velvet. I didn’t find any videos or tutorials, but I suspect I didn’t invent it. In these instructions I describe the technique for continental knitting in detail.
Moonlight by Featherfin Yarn (50% Merino, 50%Tencel), 800 meters (875 yards) per 100g
Kid Silk by Featherfin Yarn (64%Mohair, 36% Silk), 420m (460 yards) per 50g
For replacing Mohair you can use Suri lace like Suri Flausch by Mme Benoir or cashmere like Cashmere Dreams by Lang Yarns*
