Northern Lights Triangle Headscarf

Get warm and cozy this winter with this versatile hand-knit triangle scarf. Knitting pattern in a beautiful Estonian textured stitch. This is a fun project made with DK weight yarn. Techniques used include knitting, purling, increasing stitches and a fun Estonian textured stitch. The Estonian stitch makes this pattern an intermediate level. Don't want to do the Estonian stitch to make this a beginner level project? Simply omit it and work in stockinette stitch instead! I have included a lot of detail in this pattern to make it as easy as possible to complete. Three different explanations of the Estonian textured stitch are included to attempt to accommodate all learning styles: a video demonstrating the stitch, pictures of me demonstrating the stitch, and a written-out version.

I love the versatility of the triangle scarf. It can be worn as a shawl or as a head scarf. Options for styling are virtually endless. Scarf can be knit to the size of your choosing. I used DK weight yarn.
