This small scarf design was inspired by many things. Small silk scarves around the neck of French Style Girls, Sophie Scarf from knitting world, several single skeins of yarn in a stash and left overs from a project. No Gauge Scarf is a design for any kind of yarn and as it name says, it has no specific gauge. It can be knitted from any yarn with any needle size suitable for that yarn you use. There are possibilities for endless creativity and fun. Make it colorful, fluffy, fine or chucky. It’s up to you, how your No Gauge Scarf will turn out.

I started this scarf yesterday evening, it’s a bit complicated till you get used to it. I might start it again today, in a wool that will give more definition, the one I used yesterday is quite fluffy so it is difficult to identify the different stitches on the first few rows. I’m sure it will be great when finished! The pattern was easy to print but takes up an unnecessarily large amount of space.
