The sock pattern has been written generically to enable you to use your favourite sock yarn or get 'stash-busting' to make a sock to suit a variety of foot sizes. You will need between 100 - 150g 4 ply sock / fingering weight yarn, depending on the size required.
Finished size un-stretched using 3mm and 3.25mm needles is 23 cm - so it really does cater for a variety of foot sizes.
You can adjust knitting gauge / tension, for a bespoke fit; this design will comfortably fit foot sizes: UK 3-7 / US 4-8 / European 35-41 (23-27cm) depending on yarn and needle size used.
Gauge is approximately 8 sts per inch measured over stocking stitch using 3mm needles, or 9 sts per inch using 2.5mm needles.
The design has the 'Waves & Chain' and 'Scroll Cable' pattern extending on to the top of the foot, with a wide toe for comfort and heel flap shaping.
Design looks gorgeous knitted in cream, pastel or subtle variegated yarns too.
