Wear it with the brim folded up for a fitted beanie style or inside out for a slouchy style.
Both ways will show off the cable detail on the brim. If you're decisive you can attach the pompom permanently or if you want the flexibility you can secure the pompom with a pin or brooch back and change it up.

I would recommend wool or a wool blend for that stretch and stay-ability we want in a hat.
