While test-knitting Soraya’s Faroese Shawl, one of my testers unvented an unusual shawl shape. She forgot to remove the B-markers that marked the shoulder shaping and carried on the shoulder increases to the very end of the shawl. I have wanted to recreate her beautiful pentagon-shaped shawl – perfect for snuggling into - ever since, and here it is – the More than Faroese Shawl. If you prefer the traditional shaping, instructions for a Faroese Shawl are included as well.
