Product Details
Gauge:
18 sts and 27 rows or rounds per 4 inches (10 cm) in st st
Design:
This design is a modern twist on a traditional cable knit sweater. It has a simple cable (twist!) pattern, modified drop shoulders, and the option of a crew neck or turtle neck.
Fit:
Measurements shown for the sizes are the body circumference of the finished garment. I suggest you choose a size that measures approximately 4-8 inches (10-20 cm) more than your actual full chest/bust measurement.
How it’s Knit:
It is knit from the top down, in one piece. You begin by knitting the upper back, then stitches are picked up for the upper front sections and the shoulders are shaped with short rows. It has some armhole shaping and then the body is knit in the round. Sleeve stitches are picked up from the main piece, and the sleeves begin with some short rows and then are knit in the round. Collar stitches are picked up and knit at the end.
The pattern includes links to videos for some of the techniques.
