This crochet pattern booklet includes instructions to make a nautical ensemble featuring a dress, old-fashioned side-button high-top boots and jaunty hat made from cabled cotton (or substitute worsted weight acrylic). Fits 18" American Girl Dolls, Springfield Dolls, Götz Dolls and similar sized dolls.
MATERIALS NEEDED Sizes G crochet hook or size needed for gauge; red grosgrain ribbon--14” one inch width; 3” 3/8 inch width; 2 small red star appliques; five #3 snaps; one 1/2” navy blue anchor button; two 1/2” white buttons; size 1/4” pearl buttons; worsted weight mercerized cotton--450 yds. white and 110 yds. navy blue. You may substitute a thinner worsted weight (such as Caron’s Simply Soft) for the worsted weight mercerized cotton.
GAUGE With G hook and worsted weight 4 sc and 5 sc rows = 1 inch. 4 dc and 2 dc rows = 1 inch
