This waistcoat was designed for my new little friend from Ireland. This warm, soft and stylish waistcoat will become an essential part of a child wardrobe. It keeps warm but doesn't restrain movement of an active little one.
• Technique: the waistcoat is knitted upwards, in the round, seamlessly. The patterns also describes how to shape the shoulder lines for better fit. The pattern is easy to knit, and requires no advanced knitting skills. Also, it includes video tutorials on how to pick up neckline and armhole stitches. It includes Shamrock charts which can be used for your next projects.
• Skills required: knitting in the round, knitting flat, Kitchener stitch.
• Materials: the sample is knitted with Mondial Merino Sport (50g, 120m), and you could use different yarn of the same yardage.
