Product Details
This simple sweater is knit back and forth in stockinette in 4 pieces, front, back and two sleeves from the bottom up. It is complete with ribbed edges.
Intarsia is used to knit the cloud design and the eyes and mouth are added at the end with embroidery.
Mattress stitch is used to seam the pieces.
SIZES: 3mths, 6mths, 1yr, 2yr, 4yr
MATERIALS: Rico Design, essentials merino DK yarn
Colour A – 3 (3, 4, 5, 6) 50g balls or 360 (360, 480, 600, 720) metres Colour B – one 50g ball (all sizes) or 120 metres Black scrap yarn for eyes and mouth on cloud
KNITTING TENSION: 20 stitches in width and 31 rows in height with stocking stitch = 10 x 10 cm.
NEEDLES: 3.25mm (US 3) and 4mm (US 6) needles Needle size is only a guide. If you get too many stitches on 10 cm, change to a larger needle size. If you get too few stitches on 10 cm, change to a smaller needle size.
