I’ve knit several pairs of these socks in different weights of yarn for children up to adults with all shapes and sizes of ankles and feet. Let your imagination run wild with this pattern and try different weights of yarn with the different sizes given.
The stitch pattern is a simple combination of knit and purl stitches. I’ve written it for a left and a right sock but you can just knit them both the same if you get comfy with the stitch. The pattern expands more than you think it will. If you add more stitches do so in groups of 12.
