Product Details
Knitting a big, cosy scarf is just like knitting a big, cosy hug. And Lady Thistledown's Quill is the perfect winter scarf because it's certainly big, certainly cosy and definitely like being wrapped in a big, cosy hug!
Tapered like a quill with twisted stitch 'rachis' (spine of a feather), this aran scarf's design is inspired by a long standing pen pal friendship. It's a beautifully simple and relaxing pattern to knit with a mix of stocking stitch broken up by my abstract lacework thistle motif. It also has a neat iCord edge to finish the scarf off beautifully. But don't panic! It's integrated so you work it as you go!
The pattern is worked in two identical sections to ensure that the motif travels in the same direction on each side. These are then joined to create this gorgeously stylish and generously sized scarf.
