This cowl is written in 2 gauges, Bulky and Super Bulky. If you are not sure what you have for yarn, then you know what you have to do — cast on 12-15 stitches and work 8 rows in the pattern stitch to get your gauge. If your gauge is too tight, try a larger needle. Go for soft and snuggly, but firm enough to stand on its own.
