Product Details
The Kouki cardigan and hat set was inspired by pilot jackets and hats. The body of this cardigan is worked back and forth in one piece to the underarms. Fronts and back are worked separately above underarms. A circular needle is used to accommodate the large number of stitches. Sleeves and a shawl collar are worked separately and attached at the end. Make sure the wraps for the short rows are picked up from the RS of work so that they are tucked on the WS of the work when they are knit or purled together.
The sample was knit in Artesano Superwash Merino (now discontinued). A substitute yarn is shown below.
